'Seoul ADEX Office’ (hereinafter referred to as the 'Company'.) complies with the 「Personal Information Protection Act」 and related laws and regulations to protect the freedom and rights of information subjects, and processes personal information legally and manages it safely. In accordance with Article 30 of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, in order to guide information subjects on the procedures and standards for processing personal information, and to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances, we establish and disclose the personal information processing policy as follows.

1. Purpose of processing personal information

The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures will be implemented, such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Purpose of use of personal information

  1. When applying for pre-registration/on-site registration (observation) of the event, it is used for access management and event guidance to the venue

  12. When you visit a exhibitor's booth and scan the QR (or barcode) of your pass on the participant's pass scanner, your personal information will be used by agreeing to the collection and use of personal information to the exhibitor.
2. Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information

After the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved, the information will be destroyed. If it is necessary to preserve it in accordance with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations, the company will keep the member information for a certain period of time as stipulated by the relevant laws and regulations as follows, and in this case, the company will transfer the personal information to a separate database (DB) or save it in a different storage location. 4. Matters concerning the provision of personal information to third parties

The Company processes the personal information of the information subject only within the scope specified in the purpose of processing the personal information, and provides personal information to a third party only when it violates Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as the consent of the information subject and special provisions of the law, and does not provide the personal information of the information subject to a third party otherwise.

The information subject has the right to choose the use of the customer management system. If the information subject scans the QR/Barcode of the pass into the QR/Barcode reader provided to the exhibitor, it is deemed that the information subject has consented to the collection of personal information.

- If you scan the QR/Barcode of the pass into the QR/Barcode reader at each company's booth in the exhibition hall, the pre-registered information will be provided to the company, which can be used for marketing purposes. You have the right to withdraw the consent to the provision of personal information to a third party. If you do not give your consent, you may not be able to receive the services of the event.
In accordance with the "Rules for the Processing and Protection of Personal Information in Case of Emergency", it is jointly announced by the relevant government departments, the Company may provide personal information to related agencies without the consent of the information subject in the event of an emergency such as a disaster, infectious disease, an incident or accident that poses an imminent danger to life or body, or an imminent loss of property.

5. Consignment of personal information processing

In accordance with Article 25 of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company stipulates in documents such as contracts the prohibition of processing personal information other than for the purpose of performing the consignment work, technical and administrative protection measures, restrictions on re-entrustment, management and supervision of the consignee, and liability for compensation for damages, and supervises whether the consignee handles personal information safely.
If the contents of the consignment work or the consignee are changed, we will disclose it through this personal information processing policy without delay.

6. Procedure and method of destruction of personal information

When personal information becomes unnecessary, such as the expiration of the personal information retention period or the achievement of the purpose of processing, the company destroys the personal information without delay.
If the personal information retention period agreed by the information subject has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved, but the personal information must be preserved in accordance with other laws and regulations, the personal information shall be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a different storage location.
The procedure and method of destroying personal information are as follows.

1) Destruction procedure
 - The company selects the personal information for which the reason for destruction occurred and destroys the personal information with the approval of the person in charge of personal information protection <the name of the personal information controller>
2) Destruction method
 - The company destroys personal information recorded and stored in the form of electronic files so that the records cannot be reproduced, and destroys personal information recorded and stored in paper documents by shredding or incinerating

7. Rights and Obligations of Information Subjects and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them

The information subject may exercise the right to view, correct, delete, or suspend processing of personal information at any time against the company.
The exercise of rights may be made in writing, e-mail, fax, etc., in accordance with Article 41(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the 「Personal Information Protection Act」, and the <name of the personal information controller> will be taken without delay.
The exercise of rights may be made through an agent such as a legal representative of the information subject or a person authorized by authority. In this case, you must submit a power of attorney in accordance with the form of "Notice on How to Process Personal Information (No. 2020-7)" Appendix No. 11.
Requests for access to and suspension of processing of personal information may be restricted by the rights of the information subject in accordance with Article 35(4) and Article 37(2) of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Requests for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be requested if the personal information is specified as the subject of collection in other laws and regulations.

9. Matters concerning the installation, operation and rejection of automatic personal information collection devices

The company uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time in order to provide users with personalized services.
Cookies are sent by the server (HTTP) used to operate the website to the user's computer browser. It is a small amount of information and is stored on the hard disk of the user's PC computer.

1) Purpose of use of cookies: They are used to provide optimized information to users by identifying the types of visits and uses of each service and website visited by the user, popular search terms, secure access, etc.
2) Installation, operation, and rejection of cookies: You can refuse to store cookies through the option setting in the tool >Internet Options> Privacy menu at the top of the web browser.
3) If you refuse to store cookies, you may experience difficulties in using customized services.

10. Matters concerning the collection, use, provision and rejection of behavioral information

The company does not collect, use, or provide behavioral information for online customized advertisements.

The company pseudonymizes specific individuals collected for AI face recognition technology research, event performance analysis, and statistics, and processes them as follows.

<GENERAL TERMS>
  1. The Seoul ADEX Office, which is located on the 4th floor, 26 Daeheung-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, is called the "Organizer".
  2. Seoul ADEX 2023, which is operated by the organizer, is called the "Exhibition".

  6. The criteria for purchasing a Student Day ticket is for those aged 7-19 (including applicable age) and university students aged 19 and above, and a valid photo ID, such as a passport or student ID, must be presented along with the ticket.
  7. Any dispute or claim (including those outside of the contractual relationship) arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the subject matter or form thereof shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  8. If the laws of the state or country in which these Rules and Terms are intended to give effect are to be determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, they shall be segregated and deleted to the extent that they become unlawful, void or unenforceable in that jurisdiction, and the remaining provisions and terms shall remain and continue to be binding and enforceable.
  9. To the extent permitted by law, any legal proceedings that may be brought by the Ticket Holder in relation to the Ticket shall be filed within one (1) year from the time the claim or cause arises.
  10. The Organizer expressly reserves the right to change and/or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
<Entry Conditions>
  1. Holders of valid tickets may enter the exhibition on the date and time stated on the ticket. Visitors without a valid ticket will not be allowed to enter the exhibition. Admission is possible up to 1 hour before closing. Admission is not allowed to enter the exhibition after 16:00.
  2. Parking tickets are not valid to enter the exhibition. Tickets for the exhibition must be purchased separately.
  3. Elementary, middle and high school students (7~19 years old) and University students (19 years old and above) who have purchased a Student Day ticket (admission from 13:00~17:00 *16:00 on October 20) must have a valid ticket and a valid photo ID such as a passport and student ID card to enter the exhibition. If you do not have a valid ID, you will not be allowed to enter and your ticket will not be refunded.
  4. During the period of the business days other than Student Day, no one under the age of 19 is allowed to enter, even if he or she has an admission ticket.
  5. Even if you purchase a 4-days ticket, a one-day ticket, or a student day ticket, you can enter the exhibition by exchanging the ticket for a pass.
  6. 4-days tickets will have a photo of your face printed on the pass when you exchange the pass, and you cannot use it by anyone other than yourself. If it is used by others, the pass will be withdrawn without prior warning, and no refund will be given.
  7. No unauthorized performances can take place at the exhibition.
  8. Unauthorized distribution of flyers or other marketing materials is not permitted at the exhibition.
  9. Errors cannot always be corrected, so it is your responsibility to check the tickets, and the organizers are not responsible for any inaccuracies, lost or stolen tickets.
  10. By ordering a ticket, you confirm and acknowledge that all the details provided to the ticket issuer are correct and agree that the ticket issuer will provide you with an electronic ticket immediately after payment is processed.
  11. Tickets may not be used as prizes, "giveaways" or raffles in the Contest without prior written consent at the sole discretion of the Organizer.
  12. Tickets must not be resold, exchanged, transferred, altered or damaged. In the event of such conduct, the ticket will be forfeited (and the holder of such ticket may be denied for entry or removed from the exhibition at the sole discretion of the organizer). The use of the following tickets is prohibited.
    1. Copied tickets.
    2. Screenshot tickets.
    3. Tickets altered using Photoshop (or similar program).
    4. Ticket copy
    5. Illegally produced or distributed tickets.
    6. Someone else’s pass.
  13. Upon entering the exhibition hall, all visitors agree to the exhibition hall rules and any other regulations (which may be updated from time to time) set by the organizer.
  14. In order to ensure the security, safety and well-being of all visitors to the Exhibition, the Organizer reserves the right at its absolute discretion to conduct security checks of persons, clothing, bags and all other items upon entry and exit of the Exhibition, and to confiscate any items that are illegal, cause danger and/or inconvenience to the Exhibition or other visitors, and to deny entry of who may be in violation of these Regulations and Terms. Anyone who resists the seizure of prohibited items or disregards these Rules and Terms will be expelled from the exhibition hall.
  15. Large bags (including but not limited to suitcases, backpacks, folding bikes, scooters) or large items that are larger than handbags or laptop bags may not be brought into the Exhibition. Visitors with these items will be denied entry.

    • Items containing political, social, commercial, racist, religious, or sexual statements: banners, paintings, banners, printed materials, plan cards, clothing, etc.
    • Animals

    • Food & Beverage
      * However, food and beverages are available for patients
  17. Proof of age may be required for all ticket types. Please bring a valid photo ID with proof of age upon request. If you do not provide a valid photo ID, you may be asked to stop your purchase and/or to leave the exhibition.
  18. The Organizer reserves the following rights
    1. Denial of entry to the exhibition to persons who do not have valid tickets (counterfeits, screenshots, alterations, and/or defaced, or transferred tickets)
    2. Denial of entry to the exhibition to holders of Student Day Tickets (elementary, middle, and high school students aged 7-19, university students aged 19 and over) who fail to present a valid photo ID
    3. Removal of the following persons: violators of these Rules and Terms, those who commit crimes, those who act in a disorderly manner and/or in a manner that adversely affects public safety, those who behave in an antisocial manner or in a manner that is inappropriate and/or adversely affecting the safety and security of other visitors, those who behave in an aggressive or disrespectful manner to employees, and/or those who have taken drugs and been drunk.
    4. Refusal to provide alcoholic beverages to visitors who, at the absolute discretion of the organizer, are irrationally drunk and/or behave in an unacceptable manner
  19. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at the exhibition.
  20. All animals are prohibited at the exhibition, except for assistance animals for the disabled.
  21. Unless prior written approval from the Organizer is obtained, no commercial, sales promotion or trading activities (including the sale or distribution of any goods of any kind) are permitted at the Exhibition in the aisles or in and around the venue. The Organizer reserves the right to confiscate any items that constitute a violation of this Section.
  22. The copyright of all sound and video or photographs in all media, including but not limited to the Internet, belongs solely to the Organizer and all materials captured, filmed or recorded at the exhibition may only be used for purposes other than for the purpose of viewing and commercial gain for personal and non-commercial purposes.
  23. By entering the Exhibition, you agree and acknowledge that you are the subject of photographs, videos or recordings as visitors to the Exhibition and make available to those authorized by the Organizers, affiliates and organizers (including all copies), and that your images, likenesses, movements and/or voices contained in the above photographs, videos and/or recordings (and redacted versions thereof) are made available without compensation and/or credit; You consent and authorize it to be utilized in a manner that is included in all content, including future marketing and promotional materials of the exhibition, so that it may be communicated and/or utilized in perpetuity in all media around the world. By entering the Exhibition, you agree and authorize that you are subject to photographs, videographies, recordings, and recordings for television, radio, webcasts, podcasts, and other public broadcast media of any kind. By entering the exhibition, you agree and acknowledge that, in addition to the above, you will be subject to on-site CCTV camera filming and recording for and/or security purposes.
  24. The visitor agrees to comply with any policies or restrictions regarding the use of mobile phones and cameras set by the organizer and/or exhibitors.
  25. In the event of an emergency, ticket holders and all visitors to the exhibition must follow the guidance and instructions of staff, security personnel and/or other persons concerned.
  26. Certain exhibits within the exhibition hall may include flashing lights or neon lights that may cause discomfort or seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Pay attention and get help if needed.
  27. You acknowledge that the risk of attending the Exhibition is entirely at your own risk and that neither the Organizer nor its employees, contractors or agents shall be liable for any loss, injury or damage (personal injury or property) suffered by yourself, including consequential losses, except in the case of death or injury caused by the negligence of the Organizer, its employees, contractors or agents, and secondly, in the case of all other liabilities which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
  28. The Organizer shall not be financially or otherwise liable for any loss or liability incurred by the visitors of the Exhibition as a result of any contract entered into by the Visitor with the Exhibitor or any advice sought or obtained from the Exhibitor.
<Purchase Conditions>
  1. Tickets will be issued in accordance with these Rules and Terms and Conditions, and shall retain their status as the property of the Organizer, which reserves the right to retrieve all tickets at any time in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. All ticket sales are final and cannot be refunded, cancelled or exchanged after the ticket has been purchased, unless otherwise specified in these Terms and Conditions.
  3. All tickets that have not been exchanged for a pass (4-days ticket, one-day ticket, and Student Day) cannot be refunded, canceled, or exchanged after 17:00 on October 20th. (Refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are only available before 17:00 on October 20th.)
  4. Tickets exchanged for passes cannot be refunded, cancelled or exchanged under any circumstances.
  5. If the exhibition is postponed (in full or if the corresponding date of the exhibition associated with your ticket is postponed), your ticket will be valid for the rescheduled exhibition date. If you are unable or choose not to attend on the changed date of the exhibition, you will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of your ticket, but no refund will be made for any other expenses.
  6. If the exhibition is cancelled before the date of the exhibition (when applicable), you will be entitled to a full refund of the face value of the ticket, but no refund will be made for any other expenditure. Details on how to claim a refund will be provided by the organizers on the day and/or on the exhibition website.
  7. In the event that the date of the exhibition to which your ticket relates is shortened, the Organizer may offer a refund (in whole or in part) or change the date of the exhibition (in a reasonable manner) at its sole discretion. In the event of a change in the shortened exhibition schedule, the provisions of clauses 3 and 4 of the Terms of Purchase shall apply.
  8. You are responsible for all travel and accommodation arrangements for the Exhibition, and except as provided in these Rules and Terms, the Organizer shall not be liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage, including, but not limited to, travel or accommodation expenses arising out of the postponement, cancellation, abandonment or shortening of the Exhibition, and you shall not be liable to the Organizer, the Organizer's employees, in connection with the postponement, cancellation, abandonment or shortening of the Exhibition. You waive any claim against any contractor, agent or representative.
  9. It is implied at the time of issuance that tickets are non-refundable and that in the event of an event or circumstance outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, the Organizer may make changes or modifications (including those relating to the contents of the exhibition or all or part of the schedule) related to the exhibition without being obliged to refund the ticket or exchange the ticket, provided that Articles 3, 4, 5, If paragraphs 6 and 7 apply, the contents of those paragraphs shall apply validly. It is your responsibility to confirm the date, time and location of the rescheduled exhibition.
  10. You hereby confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
